ROK Cup USA Adds NorCal 80cc Shifter Class to ROK Fest West Lineup

ROK Cup USA has officially confirmed the addition of the NorCal 80cc Shifter class to the upcoming ROK Fest West event set to take place at Sonoma Raceway over the July 10-12 weekend. With ten drivers already committed to entering, ROK Cup officials elected to expand the program to welcome this passionate Northern California racing community.

The NorCal 80cc Shifter class will run under its standard rules package at a minimum weight of 375 lbs., without front brakes (395 lbs. with front brakes), and on Sunoco 110 fuel. To maintain competitive parity and manage costs for entrants, the class will run a single set of tires from qualifying through the main event. The entry fee is set at $500.00, which includes one set of LeVanto tires.

“80cc shifters have been a huge part of karting in NorCal for years, and we’re excited we could make this opportunity work for them to join us at ROK Fest West,” explained Mike Burrell of ROK Cup USA. “We really hope they will see how fun and competitive ROK Cup USA events and join us more often in the future!”

The addition reflects ROK Cup USA’s ongoing commitment to growing grassroots karting and providing premier racing opportunities to regional communities across the country. ROK Fest West continues to be one of the most anticipated stops on the national karting calendar, drawing top talent and exciting competition from across the West Coast and beyond.
