ROK Sonoma Adds KZ Platform to 2026 Class Structure

ROK Cup USA is pleased to announce the official addition of the KZ engine platform to the 2026 ROK Sonoma championship. Following its successful debut at the 2026 Florida Winter Tour, ROK Cup USA officials confirmed that KZ will now become an eligible engine option in the full championship for the upcoming season.

“The addition of KZ to ROK Sonoma represents an exciting evolution for our championship,” expressed Mike Burrell, Director of Operations for ROK Cup USA. “We saw tremendous enthusiasm for the class at the Florida Winter Tour and bringing it to our West Coast program was a natural next step. This gives our competitors another pathway to showcase their talent while maintaining the competitive balance and professional atmosphere that ROK Sonoma is known for.”

Burrell continued, “The KZ and ROK Shifter classes will run and be scored together on track, with ROK Shifter competitors receiving a 15-pound minimum weight advantage to level the playing field between the two categories. Along with the addition of KZ, ROK Sonoma will continue to offer a comprehensive lineup of classes for the 2026 season. With year-to-year growth in the ROK program in California, ROK Cup USA is looking to continue this trend in 2026.”
