ROK Vegas Adds Another Partner with Team Benik for 2025 Event

As the excitement builds for the biggest ROK Cup USA karting event of the year, series officials are proud to announce that Team Benik has joined the upcoming ROK Vegas event as an Associate Partner. Known for their long-standing success in the cadet karting categories, including victories and championships at ROK Vegas and the Florida Winter Tour, Team Benik will present a special award, the Team Benik Hard Charger Award, recognizing the drivers who gain the most positions between qualifying and the end of the main event in both the ROK Micro and ROK Mini classes.

This new award demonstrates Benik and Nick Mitchell’s commitment to the development of the youngest drivers, and it honors the cadet drivers who show the most improvement over the five-day event. With a crisp $100 bill to the deserving drivers, ROK Micro and Mini drivers have something extra to race for in Las Vegas.

Founded in 2013 and based in Florida, Team Benik has established itself as one of the premier programs in cadet and junior karting, developing countless young drivers who have gone on to success in national and international motorsport. The team has captured numerous wins and championships across major U.S. karting series, including multiple victories at ROK Vegas. They have also helped shape the careers of drivers who have advanced up the motorsports ladder and into the world of professional motorsports.

“ROK Vegas is one of the premier events in North America and has always been a special race for our team,” explained Nick Mitchell, Team Manager and Owner of Team Benik. “We’re proud to partner with ROK Cup USA to recognize drivers who show real fight — the ones who battle through the field, never give up, and make something happen.”

For ROK Cup USA, the addition of Team Benik as an associate partner brings another respected name to an already world-class event lineup.

“Team Benik has been a cornerstone of cadet karting in North America for more than a decade,” added Mike Burrell, ROK Cup USA Series Director. “They’ve developed some of the best young talent in the country, and their passion for driver development aligns perfectly with what ROK Vegas represents. We’re thrilled to have them join us this year and look forward to presenting this new award to a deserving young driver.”

Dubbed the Team Benik Hard Charger Award, it will be presented following the ROK Micro and ROK Mini main events, recognizing the drivers in each class who gain the most positions from their qualifying result to the final finishing order. Each recipient will receive $100 in cash courtesy of Team Benik.
