Confirming today, ROK Cup Promotions has announced that the ROK Fest East event at NOLA Motorsports Park has been canceled. Citing lack of interest and entries for the East Coast event, series officials are shifting their focus to the ROK Fest West and ROK Vegas events later this season.
“Unfortunately, we need to cancel the ROK Fest East event at NOLA as the interest was just not there and it was not good business to move forward,” explained Garett Potter. “We want to thank the team at NOLA for all of their help, support and planning efforts, and we hope that we will be able to return soon.”
Confirmed entries will receive a full refund and all registered competitors will receive an email when this has been complete.
Potter added, “We are looking forward to our ROK Fest West event in California as well as our pinnacle race of the season, ROK Vegas at a new location on The Strip. We look forward to seeing all ROKKERS in the very near future.”
